The Hyundai D4CB is a 2.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine with Common Rail direct injection. This 2017–2021 variant uses a Bosch Common Rail injection system, delivering precise fuel metering, reduced emissions and excellent fuel economy for modern commercial use.
Built around a cast-iron block and an aluminum 16-valve cylinder head, it offers proven reliability and a long service life. It is widely used in the Hyundai Starex (H-1), Hyundai Grand Starex, Hyundai Porter, Kia Bongo and Kia Sorento, and its strong low-end torque makes it ideal for loaded, stop-and-go operation.
