The Hyundai D4AF is a 3.6-liter inline-4 diesel engine built for light and medium-duty Hyundai trucks including the HD65, HD72 and HD78. It is naturally aspirated (no turbocharger), with water cooling and direct fuel injection.
The D4AF uses a cast-iron block and produces approximately 96 to 100 hp at 3,400 rpm with around 235 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. Its mechanical simplicity and robust construction make it highly reliable and inexpensive to maintain.
Each unit is compression-tested, leak-checked and inspected before shipment.
