The Hyundai D4AL is the 3.3-liter turbocharged and intercooled diesel engine fitted to the Hyundai Mighty light truck and HD-series commercial vehicles. Based on the Mitsubishi 4D31/4D32 architecture, it is known for its reliability, easy starting and economical fuel consumption.
The D4AL features a cast-iron block, a 16-valve overhead-valve cylinder head and direct fuel injection. With a turbocharger and intercooler it produces 115 to 120 hp at 3,000 rpm and around 294 Nm of torque, delivering strong pulling power for medium-tonnage cargo duty.
Each unit is compression-tested, leak-checked and inspected before shipment.
